The Naruron Falls in barangay Oyao, municipality of Dupax del Norte is a 7 layered falls with the height of 2,634 ft. because of its beauty, local officials of pushing for the promotion of the Naruron Falls as a major tourism attraction in the town.

Mayor Timothy Joseph Cayton has earlier signed Executive Order No. 13 series of 2016, organizing the Municipal Tourism Council (MTC) for the implementation of tourism development initiatives in the municipality.

“The Naruron Falls is one of the major eco-tourism attractions of our municipality and developing and improving it further will contribute to the economic livelihood of our villagers,” he said.

Representative Luisa Cuaresma here, on the otherhand, has already presented the House Bill No. 7855 entitled “An Act  Declaring Naruron Falls Situated In Barangay Oyao, Dupax Del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya as Eco-Tourism Site and Appropriating Funds Therefore” in the Congress’ Committee on Tourism chaired by Rep. Corazon Nunez-Malanyaon.
